New At Buena Cera:  Eyelash Lifts!

I’m really excited to announce I’ve added a new service to my menu:  Eyelash Lifts. 

I first started thinking about lash lifts when my teenage niece got one where she lives up in Washington and loved it. She told me I need to start offering them at Buena Cera, and when your super cute, cool, teenage niece tells you that you should do something, it’s smart to listen.

A Lash lift is like a perm for your lashes. It re-sets the shape of your natural lashes into a beautiful upward curl. Basically, the shape you could achieve at home by using one of those mechanical lash curling devices. Anyone who’s used those lash curlers knows they are super time intensive and its really easy to pinch your skin, which really hurts! By getting a lash lift you no longer have to take the time and annoyance in the morning curling your own lashes. You will have lifted, curled lashes for 6-8 weeks without the hassle of using an eyelash curler or the expense and lash ruining troubles of lash extensions.

I begin the lifting process by attaching your lashes to a rod that is adhered to your eyelid. This process is done with an adhesive that is similar to false eyelash glue, so, if you’ve had bad reactions to that type of glue in the past, a lash lift might not be for you. The main ingredient in the adhesive is Cyanoacrylate which is also used in medical adhesive and it does not contain formaldehyde. Next I apply the retexturing cream to reset the shape of the lashes followed by a neutralizing cream.

Then, every lash lift service includes an eyelash tint.  A lash tint is a service that uses a special dye on the lashes to give you weeks of dark black lashes so you don’t need to apply mascara.

And to finish, your lash lift service concludes with a keratin conditioning treatment that promotes healthy and strong lash growth and helps your lift last longer.

Imagine rolling out of bed in the morning and never having to bother with curling your lashes or using mascara again!

The service takes about an hour and a half and costs $115.  When you come for your lash lift you want to make sure you have a clean face, with no eye makeup on. You also want to make sure to come with an empty bladder, you’ll be on my table with your eyes shut for over an hour. So no coffee on your way to see me!
