Buena Cera Supports Racial Justice

I’ve been listening and reading more this week, trying to figure out what I can do to help change the power structures in our country. I’ve only just begun, I intend to continue educating myself and working to improve the systemic oppression black folks face. I’ve decided a very small way I can start would be to donate money to a worthy organization. I have chosen the Equal Justice Initiative. They are committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society. And They have a 4 star 100% score on Charity Navigator (the nation's largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities) for their financial accountability and transparency.  I will be donating 20% of my profits next week June 8-14th. Again, I know this is small, but if we can all start small  I think we can build to something big.
